Here by special request, the latest in the Lovely Morning series.
Hi Folks, Thanks for your concern but don't worry, it was just a bit worse than usual, and normally my husband would bring me up a cup of tea if I wanted it but because of the sciatica and the painkillers, he slept for 13 hours straight, can you believe it!!!
Anyway, I did manage about an hour and a half, so that was fine. I'm interested a few people have a medicinal toddy at night. Well I will let you know in the morning if it helps!!
Just to let you all know, I do get the tongue in cheek comments and enjoy them all But last night you caught me on an off day, for which I apologise! I'm usually a glass half full person but I do have an occasional blip!!
I hope everyone (including me) has a good nights sleep!
Love Annette x
Good morning Annette. I wonder, did you have a medicinal toddy last night? If you did, did it help? Then again, what did you have? The guys are talking about a glass of wine, maybe you had a glass of whiskey which would be at least 3 times the strength!
You must have been so envious of your husband for sleeping 13 hours straight but you have to balance that with his sciatica which can be so debilitating My back condition started with sciatica down my left leg and within 6 months I was in a wheelchair! I hope his sciatica disappears as quickly as it appears.
However, just a word of caution to anyone considering a small drink at night, remember that some of you are taking strong medication which may react dangerously with alcohol so please please take care.

Good morning to you too Morton68. Sorry to hear you have been having rotten night's sleeps, it kinda comes with the territory, I think.
I never heard any gales or whatever last night, what I can say though is there's a flood in my back garden that I haven't seen for a few years. We have obviously had a lot of rain in a short period of time which, according to the weather forecast, is now making its way across central England.
Take care and stay safe Morton
