Liver met pain.

I wonder if it is the IBS causing the pain.

i have liver mets and don’t get pain from them.

do you know if liver mets normally cause pain ?

I looked it up and t says you can get pain in the upper abdomen and right shoulder blade. Is they where you have it ?

Upper abdomen mostly. Get the odd pain in the shoulder. I do think the ibs isn't helping the issue. I hope that it is just that. I think the swelling is definitely the ibs. X

Hi Lils, I would advise you speak to your oncologist or GP. Do you go to a specialist Liver Clinic? If so, why not give them a call. Last year I was getting a lot of pain in my abdomen (with swelling too) and I thought it was coming from my liver as I have drug related cirrhosis but after speaking to the Liver specialist, he sent me for tests and it turned out to be diverticulitis. Please don't suffer in silence, ask someone. It could well be a change of medication would solve your problem! I hope so!

Hi all. 

Had my mri and the liver mets are growing. So have been taken off ribociclib and letrazole and I'm starting  chemotherapy tablets next week. Fingers crossed this shrinks the mets and gets them back under control.
