I love it when the first signs of Spring are appearing. This, apart from tête a tête daffodils, the lovely star daffodil below is my first one in the garden this year, and before St. David's Day! And a beautiful, almost cloudless, sunny day yesterday.

Take care and stay safe everyone

  • Hi Pet

You're so lucky, those flowers look like sweet pea flowers but I don't see the stalks. What is the plant Pet? They're a lovely shade.

  • Hi Richard

Sorry Richard, I missed this (for the life of me I don't know how!)

Any truth in the rumour that the guys in the spaceflight Inspiration4 wanted to go round again to see it once more? Lol

Take care and stay safe Richard

  • got the name..Alyogyne huegelii ...crazy name lol. like a hibiscus..they got about 2 to 2,5 metres high and wide...love them

  • Hi Pet

Thanks very much for finding out the name, it's one I'm not likely to remember! However, that's the Latin name and I'll remember the common name much more easily which is Blue Hibiscus. I've read up about it so I know a lot more now. I may hunt for seeds.

Take care and stay safe Pet
