I love it when the first signs of Spring are appearing. This, apart from tête a tête daffodils, the lovely star daffodil below is my first one in the garden this year, and before St. David's Day! And a beautiful, almost cloudless, sunny day yesterday.

Take care and stay safe everyone

  • Glad you are back in the garden , hispis cabbage are really nice and not too big.

pour potatoes have grown madly but we haven’t dug any up yet.

we are still waiting for the produce to occur. I have flowers on the courgette plants but no courgettes as yet.

stay well and don’t overdo it xx

I checked in at our private allotment,, Waitrose, and found everything ready for harvesting. Really convenient.

I know, its facetious but I'm missing SiT, Tinalay and other chums who are currently suffering. It's not the same and its depressing me. I know this forum is not here for my entertainment but its kept me going. That bloody hormone is making me far too sensitive.

  •  Hi ,Just to say my lower class allotment ( Lidl) is also ready for harvesting, in fact I came away with 3 good bags full of goodies for only £35.You can keep your Waitrose.

Sorry you are missing the wit and humour of several people - is hard when people are off the site and struggling, but humour gets us through, so no apologies needed for facetiousness.

How is house sale and bat saga progressing?

You must have planted up in Lidl very early to have got that bumper harvest. My gardener won't plant out until he needs sunscreen, he needs to be furloughed really, I only keep him on to alleviate my social conscience.

Everyone in the chain is ready to exchange, pity our bloody house is still not built!

I went into the loft, its never seen a bat. We have blue tits nesting every year in the eaves, the surveyor must have heard a bit of squeaking and fluttering and got his wildlife knowledge mixed up!

I have been speaking with SiT weekly, we still exchange the same nonsense but 10 minutes wears him out. Great to chat though.

    Toodlepip.  Xxxx

  • Hope the builders get on with it then. I hate to raise it but is SiT just being polite and using tiredness to cut short the conversation Wink
