I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Norbs, when we moved to the country road some 35 years ago where my wife was born, when we walked along the road there were loads of bats ducking and diving. My sons and a friend.were walking from my house to the farm at the end of the road in the gloom and one bat's radar must have gone wrong and the bat hit their friend on the shoulder and bounced up and hit his ear.
There was much merriment Took him a while to see the funny side!

Bats, I reckon naturists would pay extra, it’s all in the marketing.
As surmises, I am all for the bats staying put and the buyers being sensible. If you havent noticed them then they are no trouble anyway and I would love to have resident bats. I too was once hit in the head by a young bat as I was walking along a country lane at dusk. I am not sure which of us was more shocked. We both survived.
My nice things this weekend were
Film in cave was great fun - i did feel sorry for the jackdaws nesting in th cave- they must be deaf by now ( and no doubt any bats further into they cave system)
Yorkshire sculpture park was a lovely day on saturday- love the giant Buddha. less keen on the Damien Hirst huge pregnant statue.
Good pub lunch on Sunday, and sun shone throughout.
My regards to too, hope he recovers some strength.
I think the buyers should have come to a decision in a couple of days. If it wasn't for the trouble it is causing I would be happy to have them here.
I am so pleased you are getting some enjoyment after your recent sadness.
Of course I will say hello to SiT on your behalf. He is a very worn out person at the moment.

We intend doing that. We met in Brighton in 1977. Now three children and 44 years later we are living in Wales. It’s a bit of remenising before the inevitable happens.
and doing it whilst I am still able to get around.
It was my husbands idea. Not normally sentimental or romantic.
hope everyone doing as best they can.
