I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

So happy to hear that you are home, and a good night's sleep too!
It's so lovely to see family and face to face is so much better than zoom etc. Hopefully Sula will become accustomed to the frame
Best wishes

3 good things
1 My sister's shower was adapted as a wet room for her husband last year. It's going to be changed back, but I went over yesterday and had my1st proper shower in10 days Used all her lovely products so it felt like a mini spa day.
Both she and my niece found the frame & catheter parphernalia upsetting. Her husband had dementia so the aids were as much as a hinderance as anything else. They both saw how much it all helped me so I think that's behind us now.
2 My husband finished the stair banisters and made a few adaptations of his own which make me feel ever safer at the top and bottom turn of the stairs.
3 Our sons came over without their OHs and we had a really lovely couple of hours and a very frank talk.
I love my DsIL but it was very precious for the 4 of us to have that time.
Actually good things are rolling in at the moment, so I'm like anndanv struggling to keep it at just 3!
Really don't things could be going any better at the moment. xx
Pleased for you, so good to have your family support and to be able to talk with your family xx
Ruth
I am so happy for you. Good things happen to good people, about time you had your share. You can't beat talking with your family. Xx
Love your 3 good things, and that you could have continued!
Sarah
I'm so happy for you, you sound so good now...keep it up please!
Strange isn't it Tinalay? We have an incurable cancer and yet we can say that things are going well for us!
Tvman xx
What a great thing to be able to count your blessings like that.
I always tell people that we have been very lucky to have had all of this lockdown time together. For us, the pandemic has been a bit of a blessing {although we are getting bored of it now )
Sometimes you just want your own around you as you don’t have to explain yourself. So glad good things are coming your way honey xxx
I didn't want to say that but its so true.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
