I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

So

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Well... You all had to know THAT was coming...

Much Ben&Jerry's was harmed in the making of this SiTSilli Production although ALL of it before Xmas as I have been advised to cut out as much refined sugar as possible...

Should everything go downhill at my 1 year cancerversary scan you can rest assured that the B&J's will take one helluva battering shortly thereafter!!!

  • That sounds like torture rather than good things if you can't eat the stuff. I eat lots of ice-cream in my week off treatment, and since I'm having two weeks off this time I'll be eating double lots!

Then I'll get mine thru you!!!

    Enjoy... Hahaha!!

  • I'll think of you with my next portion SiT, I'm not so adventurous with flavours, it will be vanilla.

3 good things since getting home at 7.30 last night Blush

Lovely welcome from Sula. She’s a bit wary of the walker & barks at it every time it moves. Cairn terriers are not known for being affectionate, but she’s been cuddled up to me & every now & then turns round to share an adoring look.

Saw my sister & niece. It did us all so much good. My sister looked terrified when she arrived but we all had a good laugh & it was so good to see her relax.

Slept like a log! Only up once with minor appliance issue, easily sorted.
    xx

Good morning Tinalay. It all sounds as if you have things sorted as well as you can. You have a lot of relaxing to catch up on. I am so glad your sister could see that you were coping OK, our families suffer more than us I believe.

I do hope everything continues to settle down at home. Dont let any incompetent  through the front door either.

As much love as I am allowed to give before you husband gets concerned! Xxxxxxx
