I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Yes, I find I'm braver about stuff than I was when I was young, and less bothered by critics. I saw a bit of the Art Club and enjoyed it. The picture was drawn in respose to a daily creativity challenge that I'm doing this month #64MillionArtists #JanuaryChallenge something I wouldn't have dared to try not long ago.
I'm much more active here already than I would have expected.
Thanks for the encouragement from you and other incorrigibles.

I think he is touring later in the year, I'll go to see him if I can

One eyed rudolf! It's a billy goat gruff. I find having little talent no longer stops me sharing my efforts!

Now now people this is supposed to be a friendly site, haven't seen the badgers for a while as it's mating time so hopefully we'll have new babies in a few months time, so that might explain why I thought the goat was Rudolph??
Hope everyone is as well as can be expected in these uncertain times, like always stay safe stay positive
xx
Only joking Devon cat, I know you had a good Christmas so I took liberties with you.
I carried on feeding our badgers eggs before realising they were being eaten by foxes while the badgers were all esconsed in their setts having marital fun. Lucky sods.
I've had a really good week so far..most of it spent up the hospital but for good reasons. My three good things. 1) I had my port fitted in Tuesday, a bit uncomfortable but had a good joke with the team fitting it especially about the needlework which had to be exceptional ( a very vain lamb) 2) chemo on Wednesday ..so much easier than getting an excavator in to find non existent veins! A bit sore because operation was only previous day but apart from one reaction to one of the drugs which happened before it was successful.3) more blood tests today with covid tests as I have to have a blood transfusion on Saturday but as I was seen early and they used the port again it was over in no time. This enabled me to visit the Maggie's centre for the first time(never had time to pop in before as too much happening) gosh what wonderful places they are. You couldn't wish for a more therapeutic centre ,everybody is so kind. Separate rooms all themed to talk, tea and coffee and biscuits, benefits advisers, courses to join in or online. I got a lot off my chest today (Norberry no comments now..nothing inappropriate came off!) and came out feeling a lot better informed. I'd really recommend it for those who haven't visited and I hope to return again soon with the other half to get his problems sorted out! Hope everyone is doing ok. Love lamb
Me again. Can somebody tell me ..is there a list of words of phrases that you can't use that prevent messages from posting? I keep getting messages saying I've used some words that signify I'm in some danger and keep getting referred to the Samaritans or asked to call the police? I'm not in danger of suicidal. What is the list...does anybody know? Thank you.
It's happened again. Probably heading for the naughty corner even though I haven't been naughty!
