hello all, not sure this means much to most people these days but I have just put the union flag out on my garden fence to remember the anniversary. It was raining and for a minute that bothered me until I thought what is a bit of rain compared to the daily monsoons in Burma.
My Dad was a Chindit and was at Kohima, he like all of them, never made a fuss and it seems to me that people on here facing a terrible future without complaint must have come from the same stock.

VJ day is still a every important time in history, The world worked as one-people. A united world cause and had a huge win.
We are here today in another fight -a fight against SARS-Covid-2 for our lives, health .Again working together as one.
I say put up your flag with ceremony and pride and for our dedicated health care workers. There is hope for the planet and the future.
Imagine.
to my good friends'
