Just a thank you to everyone who supported me while my husband was battling with his stoma. On August 1st the bowel ruptured, and he was only given a 3% chance of survival if they operated. I decided enough was enough, and he passed away that day.
It has taken me a long time to decide to write this. I know it doesn't always end in this way. I'd much rather these forums are full of hope and positiveness. Good luck to all of you with stomas.
I'm sorry to read this, NannyAnny - you two gave it everything. I think it was very kind and brave of you to write this - it must have been terribly hard to do.
