I’ve just stumbled across something that has stopped me in my tracks

Serotonin is made from the essential amino acid tryptophan. This amino acid must enter your body through your diet and is commonly found in foods such as nuts, cheese, and red meat.

I’ve been taking Citalopram since just before Christmas thinking that it was needed as I had an overload of emotional and health challenges.

Now I am wondering if my diet and having a sleeping bowel has also tipped the scales in my mood as Citalopram encourages serotonin
