Wet Stoma bag after a shower.

I find the outward surface of my Stoma Bag ( cotton in appearance ) gets wet and stays wet.
If I were to redress at the top IE my vest and shirt etc they would get wet so I change the bag.
Any tips etc please.

Thanks Tillygirl for the recommendation. Even though I have a colostomy I think I’ll try this for my flights!

i will try them when I’m out and about. I managed okay at home. But definitely think they’d be great travelling

Same with me, it's ok at home, but they definitely help when you're out and about (especially during lockdown with no public loos open!!). As I said, they just give me so much more confidence. Let me know how you get on with them.

Thanks Tillygirl-2 long flights are a concern even with a colostomy, rather than ileostomy. I’m not even giving a thought to my urostomy at this point!

hi, I found when flying to steer clear of fizzy drinks- these caused my bag to fill with gas.

Leave thr old bag on whilst showering, then do a routine change afterwards.
