Hi all.
Was I glad of my stoma today. I got up this morning to find my toilet wouldn't flush. I had to wait until 4 pm for the plumber to come. I felt so relieved that I don't poo in the loo!! It just show we are in a better position than non ostomates sometimes.
Loving this thread. Its a bit of light relief.thank you
Kath
Oh No sorry Kim.
I’m a retired lady of leisure thank goodness.
I wouldn’t be able to manage to work with thirty four year olds now.
Could you imagine that?
Thats 30 pupils 4yrs old. Not 34 yr olds
Ann
I would be retired by now too if the goalposts didn't keep being moved. I'm 62. I cut down from 35 to 25 hours after returning to work after my cancer. I have to say, going back to work after 16 1/2 months off was more stressful than the treatment and surgery put together
. I sometimes feel like I run around after 34 year old- not 3 to 4 year old. The older ones amongst us can run rings around the younger ones, despite some of my colleagues having conditions which cause them pain etc.

Hi Moira
Good to hear that you’re feeling better hopefully the weather will warm up a bit and we can get out more.
I’m fine Whoops has her moments however I’ve had a few good nights I will probably regret saying that tonight!
Spring needs to arrive soon. Brooke needs to keep on gurgling that’s her job.
Take care
Ann

Hi Ann.
I remember the first time I had fish and chips after I had my operation. I was at the seaside for the day, where there's a fantastic fish and chip shop. Against my better judgement, I had to have some. It's the law when at the seaside after all! I barely swallowed the last mouthful when I could feel that I had to get to the public loo FAST!! Luckily I got there in time but it was a very awkward space to change in and my first time changing my pouch away from home. These things are sent to try us but we just get on with it.

Ha ha yes but you were at the seaside. I acted like a teenager. I really don’t know what I was thinking
