Hello, I have bladder cancer stage 4 & have finished chemo & had a second CT scan. I had to chase the results & was told the I was booked a roadical cystectomy on January 5th. This shocked myself & my wife as we had very little notice.
Can I ask if anyone has a stoma for urine & whether you have any problems with the stoma of bag?
Beautiful Coojee, have a wee dram over Christmas, and try take your mind off it for now, I know your head will be spinning and you will be in a daze worrying about your future, I hope you’ve read my comments and hope this has given an insight to what it’s like to live with a stoma, any decision you make is the right decision.
My personal preference would be anyone who is told that they would require surgery to have a stoma should meet up with someone of the same sex who has had this procedure themselves. I believe this would be of great benefit to them.
Dewy........
