Hi all,
I am having a really miserable time at the moment.
Usually I can lift myself up by remembering something from the past to raise my spirits or meet a friend etc. But that’s not happening lately I’ve just had a really depressing time of it and I am refusing to let it get me down. So anything funny happen to you and it doesn’t have to include your Stoma. Though they are funny little things aren’t they?
We were booked in for our covid boosters on saturday at a drive through.on friday got a text to say "please place a shoe on your dashboard so it can be seen"thought it was a joke or wind up but just in case did it thinking we would be the only fools with one.Anyway it turned out to be correct.it was to show them who was having flu and who covid.
Are you sitting comfortable .Let me tell you a story
The life and times of Boris and Nicola.
One morning Alaine said that the washing machine wasn't working as all her knickers had shrunk and her tummy was sore Let's see the doctor said hubby
So off they went .
We will take a picture and let you know .That day the Doc told Alaine Your having a Wee Tumour .It's not going to be in 9months for you My dear .We get you sorted .
.Not long after The Twins were delivered to Alaine .They were named Boris and Nicola Stoma. At first they were good little Twins .Happy little things that played with each other..Thing started to change when Nicola brought friends home .Wee Hernia and Prolapse. Having party's every night.
Alaine told them that Doc wasn't going to like it and they had to go .so of they went Banished from the tummy and the door was locked up.
Alaine said to her Hubby I miss the twins Boris and Nicola And all we have left is the scars on my tummy .Hubby said that nobody will get to see them .
So Aunty Artsie made lovely picture of them ..And Auntie Court who helped .
And Alaine and Hubby Lived Happily Ever After
Alaine Thanks to the NHS for making this happen
Thanks Alaine.
Yep I’m much better ,sun is shining and we’ve been out for lunch.
We were both were so ill yesterday after vaccination my hubbies Parkinsons meds didn’t take control of his symptons then that horrendous campaign for raising awareness and funds came on the TV.
It just about finished us off.
New day today and meds are doing their thing.
Your stories cheered me right up.
You okay today?
Ann
really glad you're feeling better now Artsie. It's horrible when you feel so down. You sound so strong I admire that. I know what it's like. I'm currently having pancaking problems. Think the anti depressant meds not helping the situation. Depression and anxiety dragging me down. On meds. which are not working. Also seeing a Psychologist.
