Good Morning everyone .Thou is just a short notice to let you all know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.Exactly 1 year ago I had an emergency Operation to remove 3\4 of my Bowel .Woke uin hospital with a Double loop Stoma ( Stoma I had never heard of that let alone know what it looked like ). That was me in hospital and no visitors allowed ..Get use to them and give them a name They told me
.I could hardly remember my own name . Anyway The twins had names Boris and Nicol ( think what comes out of a stoma)......
It was hard coping Burst Bags ,Acid Burns. .to name a few .Then I noticed a change in the size of Nicola .I now had a prolapse on top of a hernia .4 months later A&E again removed and reversed Operation 6hours later internal bleed another operation just in time ( life saving) another 4weeks in hospital.
I'm now better than I've ever been . So many tips First don't be afraid of the hospital .Make friends with your Doctor and there staff as they are going to be your first call if anything happens and your Stoma nurse Supply Company ,District Nurse..Most of all take care of yourself and don't be afraid of embarrassed ...

You had me in stitches at your stoma names and you dealt with a lot with great humour thrown in . I honestly don’t know how you got through it all !
I am sure the staff at the Queen Elizabeth were very taken with you ! But you sound well on your way !
