I've been quite constipated for the last 4 days, passing bits but nothing much into my stoma pouch, today I've noticed my stoma seems bigger than usual, has this happened to anyone else? Oh the joys of a colostomy!
Three. Hi Moira. Do you think you might have a bit of a blockage? Maybe give the stoma nurses a ring and while you’re waiting for them to come back to you, have a warm bath and try massaging the area around the stoma. If your output is not as much as usual then it’s always worth getting it checked out.
I think you're right and that's s good idea about the bath! I think. things are starting to move now, slowly! Apart from that, I've been fine! It's s pain, just trying to eat normally, having the hernia makes me look pregnant to start with!
