Hi my Mum has had an ileostomy and is two weeks after surgery and her stoma is not settled with the output very high and her losing weight. Does anyone have any experience of living with a stoma and coeliac disease? I cannot find any information on line with advice on this. Thank you. x

I'm sorry to hear that your mum's stoma has not settled down yet after her surgery. I have no experience with this but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By responding to you it will bump it back to the top of the first page.
I've had a look through this group to see if any previous posts mention coeliac disease but have only been able to find this one. Click on the link I've created to read it. You could respond to the poster to ask any further questions but they may no longer be in this group as their last post was a couple of years ago.
You could also post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will aim to reply in 2 working days.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis.
