Stumbled upon this support community and am pleased to be a new member, thanks. I had my urostomy op nearly 3 weeks ago and am interested in any recommendations anyone has for stoma support/hernia belts that are not cumbersome. I was an active person, running, hiking, diy etc and intend to be again when I'm fully well again. So, I wish to support the area around the stoma at these times to try to stop getting a hernia. Any advice on products/reviews would be most welcome folks
In the end I went with the SASH belt and I am glad that I did. Personal service from a smallish UK company. Friendly and the product is perfect for my needs. I would recommend to anyone to give one a try. I've seen samples of other belts and nothing compares. They are customised to the individuals stoma product. I got 3 on prescription and am delighted
Thanks for posting Di6d you get 3 the same? With or without guard? I've still got 1 left on prescription. Xx

Yes I got 3 the same all with the clips on for the guard. Plus I had one low profile guard. Hope you get on as well with yours as I am. Early days yet though
