Hi peeps.... So I was having a conversation with my friend just before and she asked me why my stoma was called Little Miss... That got me thinking....Â
Little Miss gets her name because she is small and feisty.... Attitude ....Â
What's your stoma called and why? ... XÂ
Hi Wuu and welcome to the group.
I’m sorry didn’t notice your reply earlier as we have a more up to date thread somewhere in the group where a number of us were discussing stoma names, but glad you have found this one and contributed!
How is your husband getting on with his stoma? I hope everything’s going well, but please feel free to join in any threads if you like to, and ask any questions you need to.
You haven’t said what type of stoma your husband has, but we’ve got different types represented in the group so there’s always someone who can help if needed.
I’ve had 2 stomas for over 5 years now-a permanent colostomy and a urostomy (named Boris and Donald as they seemed apt at the time!) but others have ileostomies, so we have plenty experience of managing different things.
It’s good to have you with us, and I hope you’ll find this a helpful place to be.
Sarah xx
Hi Sarah
Thankyou for your message
My partner is doing ok, he has a colostomy bag permanent due to stage 3 bowel cancer. Guess we are still adapting to the changes but he is doing well i like to think and i am so proud of him. Our journey has been tough at times and scary but he is still here that's the main thing xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
