Hello folks.
I think I am right when I say colostomy.
I have an appointment next week to see my surgeon.
I was told it would be about an operation to help with my ongoing problem of constant toilet needs.
So it will probably be about a bag on my side, which I was told was a possibility months ago.
After my appointment I will come back with I have no doubt loads of questions.
Meanwhile I will keep my fingers and toes crossed.
Talk soon.

Hi Chromeplated
Thats really good news thanks for updating us. It will make such a difference to you I’ve got an ileostomy it doesn’t stop me from doing a thing in fact I don’t have continual pressure and the worry of what I can eat.
Im keeping everything crossed for you.

Thanks Artsie. I had a phone call from a nurse who has been really supportive over the months and she confirmed it is about a bag operation and she told me it will greatly improve my quality of life. So with fingers crossed and no food before 1-30pm appointment + Imodium and Codiene taken I will hopefully know more on the 3rd of February.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Hopefully once you have a stoma you will get control and enjoy Spring out and about.
Keep us updated.
Ann
