Favourite quotes or sayings

I thought I'd share one of my favourite pieces of writings with you this morning and invite you to share one or two of yours if you'd like. All faiths and spiritual practices are welcome. It could be a poem, a quote, a song lyric, etc.

I sometimes forget that
I was created for joy.

My mind is too busy.
My heart is too heavy.
Heavy for me to remember
that I have been
called to dance
the sacred dance of life.

to love
to be lifted up
