I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3 last March. I went through a lot and I still have challenges. My morning and evening chanting for myself and others help me hugely.
Hi Azzurra and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community.
Those of us with a Faith...... regardless the type of Faith will find the community and personal devotion/prayer/meditation....... to be very helpful both mentally and physically when navigate our cancer journey.
I became a Christian in my early teens (13) and 56 years on...... having been on my journey for 25+ years with two very rare types of Lymphoma the support and comfort of my Church community and personal Faith has made a significant diffen as to how I have navigated some challenging times.
Blessings
Yes Faith is important regardless of which one. Absolutely!
I posted to see whether there were other Buddhists in this network.
Thank you for your kind reply
