Good morning everyone, I do hope that you all had a good or goodish weekend depending on how your health issues presented. Great weekend up in the Highlands and we even did see the sun.
We all have life stories and I thought I would share this little one (again).
The picture below is of the place where the 'penny dropped' with regards to my search for the meaning of life. I was walking this beach 48 years ago as a long haired. 16 year old guitar player with no religious background or connections.
I was in my first year as an apprentice production joiner and as I walked the beach, looking at the sea, the beach and the forest behind me this very clear thought came into my mind "Windows don't grow on trees...... it needs a craftsman to make them"
Ok, not a very profound thought, rather obvious actually but for me it started my journey to find the true meaning of life and eventually lead me to find Jesus...... it religion, but Jesus.
Where was your "Windows don't grow on trees" moment?
Lovely words, highlander, but more than words, it is your experiencing, beautiful and thanks for sharing
i have had several moments of confirmation.....
i wont go into detail, but I have also had times where I felt abandoned, lost ....when I have come through I have thought of "footsteps in the sand" if you know the story...
i have worked for many years as a counsellor and I have had beautiful moments with clients, where I have know spirit presence in Love. Just that nothing more, simplistic.
i have had moments where I am thinking of someone and then within minutes they make contact sometimes when I have not heard of them for sometime.
i came on to here tonight to say thanks.....from when I asked for prayers and saw this......magic.
Precious moments, God always Knows the right time!
mine was when my dad died. My mum had been ill and dependant all my life so I think in some ways I was preparing for her to give up and die!
i met her for a coffee in town and was totally amazed and confused as her face was alive. She told me about some people visiting her from a local church and that there was a verse where it says that God looks after the widows and the orphans. As she said it I heard The Lord say I’ll look after you and be your Father It was mind blowing in that moment I totally knew and know that I am his and He will always be my Father!
Makes me buzzzzz every time I think of it!
Many blessings to you all much love ️
