Hi everyone, Had my operation to remove all the lymph nodes under my right arm on the 27th May which went well although I ended up spending another week in hospital with an infection at the drain site. It was great to get home

I go for the results of the op this Thursday.

    Good luck to everybody

    Hi Stef,

I'm having 6 chemo, 3 x FEC and 3 x Taxotere, then on to 15 radio (3 wks of 1 every Mon-Fri). Not really worried about the first chemo tomorrow, just don't know what to anticipate. Will have the chemo at Macclesfield Hospital and the radiation at Christies Manchester.

Have been & had my wig styled today - it looks good. Because it is copper red my skintone needs freshing up a bit and I have got free tinted moisturisers and foundation testers from Lancome to try out. Also got an eyebrow pen and an eyeliner. Need to be ready for Silverstone! (Because I bought two products I got a really fanatastic goody bag for free!). Also signed up for a Beauty club reward card scheme at Debenhams, same as Boots - 1 point worth 1 penny.

    xx

    Hello All
I am really happy , my consultant was very positive today, pretty sure they whole tumor and cancer has been removed, the tumor was smaller than they first thought ,but 15 lymph nodes were positive but i have had a full clearance. I know i am not out of the woods yet and i have chemo and radiotherapy to contend with but i feel so much more positive now. Bring it on is what i say.
    Enjoying the positive thoughts today.
