Hi all,
Thats great news Jo. Its lovely to hear how positive you are. I remember feeling just like you when i got my results, them saying they think they've removed it all. But like you Stef, i was kinda knocked sideways when they revealed i was her2 + and would need herceptin and grade 3 and would definately need chemo. However, knowing where you stand and what treatments are required does make you feel better in a strange kind of way!! Stef thankyou for your lovely words of encouragement. Sometimes i don't know where we all get our strength from but we do.
Margaret i'm so pleased to hear that your skin is healing so quickly and you're not in any pain :-)
Good luck for tomorrow Caroline. i shall be thinking of you x
Hi Marmalade, You feel free to lurk on here as much as you like, we all appreciate hearing from you. I can't believe your sis is still waiting!!! Its really not good enough!!
Take care everyone
Chelle x
Hello All
Margaret, I am so pleased to hear that you are doing so well. It's amazing that a week later you are healing so well. Those of us who still have to have radiotherapy (which is most of us at the moment) will be encouraged at how well you have recovered from it. You certainly had a trying time.
i think it is absolutely bloody wonderful that we can all pass our experiences on to each other.
I saw my Oncologist today and she was pleased that the side effects of this new chemo, CMF, are kinder that the Epirubicin.
Chell, how are you getting on with this one? My only side effect is the mouth ulcers, which are now under control. The tiredness is quite negligible.
Marmalade, I can't believe how long it is taking for your sis to get things sorted.
Paula, try not to wake the rest of us when you are treading the boards in the early hours!!!!
Caroline, we will all be with you tomorrow in spirit.
As always, thinking of you all.
Jean x
