Love from Laila xxx
Morning all,
Stef I’m jealous of Trevor being able to go to the loo too!! He sounds adorable and just what you need to keep smiling. Glad your having a better Saturday (after chemo).
Laila your tea sounds delicious (even if it is breakfast time!!). Your condom story just cracked me up lol!! Have a lovely pub lunch today and I really hope Coral’s daughter has better luck next time, very sad. I'd better make another cup of tea (even though it tastes poo with chemo mouth!) to wake me up to translate your message!
Paula your Friday nights are the same as mine! I don’t look like me, no sex, piling on the pounds and to top it off I go of booze for a couple of weeks!! How times have changed boo-hoo! Never mind it won’t be long till those day’s are back again woo-hoo! Glad you can both still have a laugh. This week’s chemo hasn’t been too bad, infact it’s most definitely been the best for minimal side effects so far!! :-). Now my hubby’s mentioned moving, I really fancy the idea. We do live near an old market town, in a pretty village at the moment, which is full of lovely old, beautiful houses, but we live in the middle of the village in a fairly modern house. I quite fancy being on the outskirts, with views and an old house. Oh well maybe one day. I’m thinking all these nice thoughts and planning a future to remain positive.
Jean dad’s doing ok ta, they are not too worried about him now. He’s just on medication, a diet!! And de-stressing. Glad you survived yesterday, although it sounds like your garden, house, ankles, toes, slippers etc didn’t quite survive the dog lol! Great to hear Katie’s being spoiled and eating loads of ice cream (glad they still do this, someone told me they didn’t anymore and gave them toast instead…ouch!!). Have a lovely day.
Susie thanks for your lovely comments. I’m so pleased you have stopped feeling down and you’re able to have a laugh. Sorry your mum couldn’t show your pictures but glad she is doing well. Have a great day and enjoy that lovely weather (well the shade of course) because here just lately the weathers been pants!!
Jenney thank you for your lovely comments too. It’s a great bunch of people on here. Sorry your port is still sore. I think it will be sore for just a few days then you will forget it’s even there!! Every now and then I will knock mine or notice it in the mirror but otherwise I forget it’s there!! Bring on the chemo!!
Well we're off to a friends for a BBQ later. Lets hope the food tastes good with the chemo mouth! Also hope i can stay awake and be good company. What with not wanting a drink and being tired they'll wish they'd never invited us lol!!
Have a fab weekend
love Chelle x
Hi How is everyone today? Cloudy but dry here so going out for a walk to get some fresh air Feeling a bit yuk today not sure if it was the beers I had last night or the chemo lol.
Laila I have inflammatory breast cancer a difficult one to diagnose. They told me I had mastitis for a few years and by the time they found cancer one boob was much bigger than the other. Still the chemo reduced it so much I could hardly feel it before my op. In Scotland we still have to pay for our prescriptions L Hope Corals daughter gets pregnant soon.
Chelle I love to plan trips it takes my mind of the C and gives me something to look forward to. I want to do as much as possible with my life its just a shame its taken C to realise this. Try booking somewhere nice when your finished your treatment. Because I am on weekly chemo they don’t mind me missing the odd one just means it will last longer at the other end Nearly be November before I am finished. I will keep my fingers crossed that your auntie is ok. Enjoy your BBQ tonight and I hope it stays dry for you.
Susie So glad your felling better and I think this thread is a great help to us all. Some funny stories and great humour which gives me a great laugh reading them. 41 degrees is to hot for me. Keep cool in the shade!
Paula your post made me laugh. Wont be long and before you know it your hair will have grown in your fingers will be ok and Friday nights can return to normal lol. The posts re condoms are making me laugh so much it hurts. Sex Cant remember what that is lol.
Kay I love Devon and I would love to live there. Another place I fancy is Whitstable but will have to wait for a while as my youngest still has 2 more years at school plus I have so much support here it would be silly to move at present. Like you I would love some pets but don’t think I will as I like to get away for weekends so who would look after them. My boys are never here even although they are begging to get a dog and promise to look after it when I go away but we all know dad and mum will be left with the responsibility of looking after it. Sounds like you and Paul have your hands full in Devon with all the animals lol.
Steff Paula Jean and myself have been chatting on skype If any of you want to join us just download skype and we can all have live chats together.
Hope everyone has a fab weekend
Take care
Lots of love
