Apologies if this is the wrong place to post. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
Does anyone know of a personal trainer with experience of cancer Prehab or how I can find one? My hospital (in London) doesn't run a prehab programme so I'm trying to do it myself. :-/
Hi Jackie P in all my 23+ years on my cancer journey and having supported on the community for 6 years I have not seen this mentioned as being available.
But you may want to check out your local council run Community Centre where there is a gym as at our local Maggie's Centre we have a weekly circuits group that is run by a cancer trained fitness instructor from the council gym who tailored exercises to each group member based on where they were at in their cancer journey.
