Hi Bob, sorry your not sleeping and also sorry dont know the answer, Helen is also having trouble and on facebook at really odd hours. perhaps its because you both push the boundries so much and the body dosnt relax enough to sleep. You could get lights for the mower and cut the lawns. then you wont be the only one awake, just make sure neighbours are all smaller than you, in case they are not too happy...Take care XXXX
Good idea Chrisie.
Not a brilliant day again. spent the morning in bed and the afternoon laying on the sofa. I feel shaky and wobbly plus so so tired. also tonight, struggling to eat anything as everything tastes bloody awful. also real bad indigestion..Hopefully its another side effect of the Sutent. never mind, tomorrows another day.
Hmmm, wobbly man today, then, Sir Bob? (forgive me for that typed 'grin'.....your post made me think of the wobbly clown toy that we had for our two when babies, have a wonderful photo of baby son with it, looking totally bemused by it!) Hope tomorrow is better and the effects of the Sutent wear off fast when the time comes for the 'off' time.....love and hugs for you and the family too

Much better at the moment thanks Helen. I slept really well last night but at someone else's expense. I awoke this morning and put my hand out to touch Linda and thought, blimey you are taking this slimming lark far too seriously , where on earth are you, when I realised she was not in the bed. Apparently I had made such a noise in the night she had found it impossible to sleep and had took herself to Kates double bed. Sorry my dear. I have already showered and cut the front lawn. Today I am popping in to work to drop off some paperwork, so that should be interesting. All in all i feel much better today. I am waiting for, what is hopefully, the last district nurse visit for my leg wound. I am hoping they will sign me off as healed today.
ah, glad you slept better, you obviously are feeling less wobbly today otherwise you wouldn't have cut the grass........hope that leg is properly healed now......love and hugs to you all, hope Linda got some sleep too

Hi Bob,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better today, hope this continues for you. Perhaps the blip was from doing so much over the latter days weeks, being so busy will take it's toll especially with the medication.
Listen to your body, get rest when needed, be on the go when you feel up to it.
See you are cutting the lawn so you must be feeling better, when you are finished would you come and cut mine? hahaha.
Take care love. You too Linda hope your sinuses are beginning to clear, the headaches sinus problems cause are horrendous,
Love to you all
Maryxxxxx
A much better day indeed, after cutting grass and a couple of other odd jobs . we took a trip to my works and handed in some paperwork. It was good to see all the old faces but things have certainly changed around there with the recession beginning to bite. We also went to the hospice to hand in a letter before coming back homeward to get Kate from school. Once we had Kate we went to , what is at the moment, her final therapy session. The person who has been helping her is moving on to a new job. We still have a contact at the centre but to be honest, Kate has learnt how to deal with so much and until things take a real turn for the worst, we will be fine. Once home and neither of us with the energy for cooking tea we decided on a take out which was a good option. Time to watch the news before bed. Another day done.
A fair day again today although my tummy is very unsettled. have not done too much. Spent the morning resting up and also seeing a friend who was travelling back up to Bristol, where he now lives and works. This afternoon we have been to Kates dance class and watched her perform and receive her award and then to top of the day, Tom and Katie are round having just had their first scan. the pictures are great and everything looks fine. Katie is positively blooming and looks really well.
