Thanks all again for your messages, its so annoying that after starting to reply that I can only see the last message, I have such a bad memory which holds me back.
Today has been a great day. After a good nights sleep, we popped across to see my mum before having a family Bar,b,q, it was really good and tommy did the cooking to perfection once again. I am tired now. The nurse has been as usual and everything seems to be ticketyboo. Im glad you got out as well Jackie, it does you the world of good, doesn't it. Also spoke to my sister in America tonight, All in all, a successful day
Good to know your day was better, Sir Bob......love and hugs to you all

And another fair day today Helen as well. A fairly restful day But I have felt reasonably good. The doctor rang this morning and checked all was well and we have discussed me coming of the driver tomorrow and going on replacement tablets instead. At least it will free us up so we do not have to wait in for the district nurses to come round. Dinner and tea have gone down well and im optimistic of a good nights sleep. The nurses have changed my driver for today and also checked the site of where I burnt my leg on the radiator a couple of week ago when I fitted after passing out. All seems pretty good at the moment
Hi Bob,
So pleased to read that you are feeling so much better and managing to keep some food down, good news all round, and I pray that as every day goes on this continues for you love.
Glad to hear that your dear girls enjoyed the ballet.
Biggest and warmest of (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to you all.
Love Maryxxxxxx
Thanks Mary.
Another really good day today. After Linda took Kate to school, she came back home and after doing some paperwork, Linda took me and my wheelchair out for a good waks in the cambridgeshire, Granchester countryside. It was a fabulous walk and Certainly kept Linda in good shape manourvering me round style gates and pebbled pathways. I might have lost a bit of weight but im still no push over. Also had a visit from district nurses who have removed driver so that feels more comfortable. Macmillan nurses also called and I have agreed to a twelve week (day per week) respite session. Not really sure if its for me but I owe it to myself and my family to at least give it a go. Linda is picking up Kate from her ballet classes and I have tea on the go (prepared by Linda before she left so im not overdoing it.
Granchester, eh? was the church clock set at ten to three? Was there honey for tea? (have read my Rupert Brooke!)
Seriously, its good to hear that the good days are just showing signs of beginning to outnumber the bad...my love and hugs to you and the family.

Hi Bob,
So pleased you enjoyed your day out with Linda, I don't know your area cause I am from up North lo!
Give it a go love, and if it is not for you then at least you have tried and I am sure your family will be behind you all the way, you never know you may find it very beneficial regarding eating, pain relief, support etc, I do hope so.
Everything is crossed for you at this end.
Warmest of ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) for you, Linda, dear little Kate and your lovely boys.
Love Maryxxxxx
Thanks Mary and Helen
Another good day today, A morning trip in to Cambridge to get a couple of bits. Its always good to get out for a bit. This afternoon the district nurses came and have showed me how to give myself Clexane injections. Although I didnt like the thought of doing it, it was fine and im sure I will ok from now. I hope to sleep a bit better tonight as last night I ended up taking Paracetamol as I had pain under my rib. I ended up staying downstairs for a bit until the pain subsided, Probably another of the Sutent legacies. All in all I feel as if im going in the right direction. My only problem is to get my leg healed where I burnt it when I had my fit. I will need to keep that from prof Gore as he would almost certainly keep me off the Sutent. I have swore Linda to secrecy.
Is it time for the honey or silver dressings for that burn, Bob? I know Linda will be up to speed about what to use anyway.....love and hugs to you all
