Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. Hey chickie Teresa Reckon kirsty put a spell on me cos she in bed and knows i bin talking bout her! lol She eats and sods off up the wooden hill to leave me all alone cheeky moo she is! lol
Michaela used to be like that except it'd be me that cook's dinner, wash up and she'd be gone orf up the wooden hill to watch the music channels or them stupid/crazy american programs (like the one's with Paris Hilton in) I can't stand them but of late I put up with them on downstairs but only for a while lol!! xxxxxxx
these girls eh? what would we do without them! lol Have a party?... travel the world?.......... be rich?.......... but very lonely eh? We love em really and at least kirsty cooks herself unlike Daley who can clean and is very clean but don't cook! lol Case of won't cook don't cook with him! lol
Bless...Michaela can do beans on toast and pot noodle!!! though I have to give her credit for her cups of T, just as I like them...would never do without em eh? be lost without em really :-) reckon chickie kates either zzzzing on her laptop or fell out that window while she was having a cig..reckon we should give her a shout xxxxx

Glad I didn't though like you I thought I had and no you didn't me either!! I know what you mean about the jesting keeping you on your toes..I miss it with my Dad too especially with the footy but hey :-( getting teary now silly beggar!! throw as much of it as you want I'll take it and throw it back (think we need it don't we!!)
