Good afternoon,
I'm after any recommendations for a family councellor if possible please.
My friend is a single Mum (she's 46 and there is no father presence) and diagnosed as terminally ill with bone cancer (life expectancy 2-5 years). She has a 10 year old son who knows about the condition and is unsurprisingly finding it difficult to process.
She has been trying to find a family councellor that might be able to help but so far has not found anyone with experience of her type of situation.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Chloe
Hi
Sorry to hear about your friend, possibly the easiest bet might be if she rang our helpline or possibly Maggies who may well be able to signpost towards places that might help.
I am sure she has covered things with school for her son too, they can provide a lot of support.
<<hugs>>
Steve
