Hi everyone

I am just trying to navigate myself around the site.  Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Love Ali xxx

Ah - I was wondering why the guards van had come to a halt and it appears that the driver has left his post to do a bit of scrumping !

Mandy - is your cart safe? I suspect it may hve been borrowed to carry away the scrumped reserves of TCOs found in Miggins cupboard.

Still never mind, I will just have to despatch this entire box of "Volcanic" TCOs all by myself. Yes, they are on sale and have tiny fizzy bits of orange sweet in them. :)

Best wishes to all - Robin

PS - Prize for Miggins, as I think she guessed first.

PPS - No sign of amber nectar back here Martyn, would you grab some from Mandy's locker on the way back?

Y&Y - Happy Anniversary and the very best of luck for tomorrow.

We too get scan results tomorrow after Jan's neurologist requested that one be done PDQ for him to review her sudden increase in auras over the last couple of weeks.

    Best wishes - Robin

    Y&Y, Robin

All the best for scan results tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Y&Y- congratulations on your wedding anniversary, enjoy your silver service back there in first class :)

Mum started working one afternoon a week in a charity shop this week- it's not much, but it is a great start.  The manager seems very understanding of everything (She is working for Mind) so fingers crossed it all goes well

Thank you all so much for your love and good wishes. Very eventful day here unfortunately. Just to say it involved a commode delivered too late, a rush for the loo and my hubby and me piroutting round the bathroom me trying to regain his balance to no avail. We ended up in heap on  bathroom floor and had to call ambulance to get him up off floor. It was the most heartbreaking thing so far to see his dignity so shot to pieces. Ambulance were brilliant and got him downstairs so I am now able to get him to appt tomorrow in wheelchair. Im exhausted. Just off to cook tea then early night sleeping downstairs in front of the woodburner. It will be a lovely romantic anniversary night.

    Love to all x

Hi Robin,  our very best wishes for tomorrow. I've just borrowed the master key and opened Mandy's locker, but  I can only find empty bottles and several Bucks Fizz 45's.  TCO dark rules ok?

Ali,  great news about your Mum please give our best wishes.

Y & Y,  I hope you've both had a great day? will be thinking of you tomorrow.

    Best wishes to all,

    Martyn XXXX

Martyn please dont apologise. I know you all here know exactly what we are going through- unlike his daughter who is a footballers WAG in the true sense. She has been 'rushing' down from up North to see her Dad for the last two weeks but has been unable to find anyone to look after her children while she came.Well- yesterday she phoned to ask about her fathers welfare and guess where she was? Dubai !!!! She has kicked her footballer husband out of his own house and is holidaying with her MOM( that stands for Man of the Moment). Her long suffering husband has been allowed to move back in for the week to look after the kids while she is away.Cant be struggling that much to find a babysitter. Just guess I hoped that as she did have some free time she would want to spend it with her fast detiorating Dad-or not. Layed in bed last night I did think me and her have something in common-we both have aching backs-mine from lifting and manoevering her poor Dad and her? she got hers from laying on it!!! Sorry if that sounds harsh its just the way I feel. Sorry for rant and thanks for letting me get that feeling out. Night night. x

Thanks everyone for your lovely replies. Y & Y, congratulations on your anniversary. I can understand how ending up on the bathroom floor can easily happen, our hospice nurse was here on Monday and suggested my husband start using a walker. He has been very wobbly on his feet and yesterday was the first time I have had to help him shower and dress.

It is a real mission getting him to appointments on time, we saw our oncologist yesterday and he has started G on CCNU and organised for another MRI to be done in the next few weeks.

G's rapid deterioration is so obvious to me now and I see the shock on people's faces when they come to visit.

On a happier note, we have had some lovely sunny days this week, I'm on the other side of the world to most of you, so summer is well and truly on it's way, definitely a plus, mind you I do wish the grass would stop growing so quickly.

    Take care everyone. XXX

It must be very hard to see that Daisie. xx
Hope the CCNU helps your husband feel a lot better.

Robin, everything crossed for good results tomorrow. xx
