Hi everyone

I am just trying to navigate myself around the site.  Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Oh my dear sweet Pam.  I'm so very sorry to hear of Tony's passing and that your soul mate has been taken away from you.

But, I am relieved that he is now finally free of the shackles of his suffering and is at peace.

Over the past few months, I have watched you grow so much as a person, as a carer, as a parent, and as a loving wife.  I have laughed and cried through your many (and verbacious) posts here, but it's evident that your love for your Tony grew by the day.  Your children have also shown a huge amount of love, compassion, and humour in dealing with their Father's condition.

They will continue to be there for you and will hold you firm when you need it.

I hope that the coming days will continue to be calm and reflective for you all, as it was for us.

I feel truly honoured in being able to share some of your and Tony's life.

    We love you, Pam.

    Dear Pam

I am so, so sorry to read this, but hopefully you can take some comfort in the way Tony passed, with his brave, loving family around him in peace and dignity in his own home. His suffering is over now and he couldnt have been looked after with more love than that which you gave him. I am in awe of your courage and selflessness and your devotion has touched my heart in the past few weeks.

My sincere condolences to you and your family.

    Dear Pam

I am so sorry to hear your news this morning, my thoughts are with you and the children. I have been quietly following your journey on here, your posts are so well written and a great insight to those struggling not only with brain tumours, but cancer as a whole.

Tony was well loved and surrounded by love as he went, you should be truly proud of yourself and the care you have provided for him xx

My thoughts and prayers are with you all now, and during the next few difficult weeks and months.

You have all been so very brave and strong and I hope you continue to be.

I know you will all miss and love Tony for ever and you have many good memories.

May Tony's soul rest in peace.

    Dear Pam and family,

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

    Take care

  • Dear Pam and Family

You were right when you said that Tony would decide when he had had enough  and he would go in his own time. He will have known that he was a very lucky man to have such a determined and loving wife who fought tooth and nail to provide the care that he needed right up until the end ....and beyond. You have been like a breath of fresh air on the Forum Pam, and your insight and way with words will help many still on the journey.

This abysmal disease can hurt Tony no longer...now it is time to look after you. When you are ready.....the oldies in the Observation Car are waiting to welcome you.

    Peace be with you Tony.

    Love Cathi xx

    Oh Pam xxx

I can't add anything else-so desperately sorry to hear of Tony's passing. As others have said, he must have been so proud of you and his children. Pete's right, you've grown and become an inspiration to all  here.

Sorry Pam, I'm useless with all of this, would love to give you a great big hug xxx
