Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Dear Martyn
Good luck tonight and in the days ahead.
In our thoughts and prayers
Special prayer for your Doreen.

Martyn, you and Doreen remain in my thoughts and prayers

Thank you ladies.
Doreen has now started discharging a runny green/yellowish mucus from her mouth. I assume this is coming from the airways? She is very rattly and jerky. Chest infection, pneumonia? I feel this is going to be a long night again. I am in a new place, and it infuriates me that I can't answer questions or know the path along which are treading. Your support and good wishes are so valued. XXXX
Martyn.
Now might be a good time to call the out of hours nurse/doctor for an assessment. If I were in your position, I'd appreciate someone medical to guide my decisions.
You shouldn't be burdening yourself with this.
Thinking of you and Doreen, Martyn. So pleased you have your family with you there.
Love to everyone on here

Dear Martyn..
You have been with us all throughout our journey and know that we are all with you and Doreen now. I am so glad that Doreen is peaceful and painfree and that you have family to support you. The green yellow mucus is I think fairly common at this stage, and I was told by the Hospice that it was likely to be the fluid from around the tumour as it grew. It leaked continually from Mark's nose in his last week.
You have been a wonderful caring and dedicated husband to Doreen and that is what she will carry with her for the rest of the journey. No one could have done more. I think you should go and make yourself one of your sardine specials while you sit with her. I think she would like that.
Love and strength to you and yours in the days ahead.

I love how this group pulls so tightly together at times like this.
Pete.
So glad your open house for Ali went well. If it had not been or the Arctic conditions and the fact that you reside in the balmy south, you may have had more of us Northerners appearing at your door!
I hope that you are getting used to the "new normal". It will never be the same but "baby-steps" and maybe we can all recover some of the mental and physical resources so seriously depleted.
Glad you met up with Joanna...I met Hazyfantazy (Hazel) a couple of months ago. Slowly we are attaching threads to the people who supported us through the dark days. The comfort of strangers.
keep well
Love to all

Martyn, I'm one of the unfortunate newcomers sending positive vibes your way. Hope the next few hours/ days are gentle with you and your dear wife.
Selina, if your reading, hope everything went well with Ben's op.x
My word they are a few of us from nr Saddleworth.( Kinda makes you wonder !! ) I live nr Greenfield. I'm organising a sponsored hike around the Peak District (approx 10 miles) We have a team of 9 possibly 10 at the moment. More would be very welcome. Money raised will go to Brain Tumour UK. If any of the Saddleworth crew would like to join, or indeed anyone from anywhere in the country just drop me a line. I'll get BT uk to send more sponsor forms. Provisional date set for 17th March Thanks
