Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Selina, what can I say!. I'm so sorry about Ben.
Dan has only had the one seizure, medication seems to be working well. He is very bloated from the steriods though, and has a rather strange mohican hair do !
Hope you're still able to concentrate on your fundraising efforts. If you can send me a link for sponsorship I'll sponsor you. Let's get this lad able to have a decent bath at least. x
llowe, I understand your pain and confusion. Some days I can barely remember my own name.Hang on in there ! x
Posted earlier in thread about my wife Teresa that after nearly fours from diagnosis of Grade IV GBM she is doing great - been out for 2 xmas meals over last two days.
I know a lot of people are going through a really emotional time right now and at xmas it gets worse but keep your spirits up.
I have put a few images taken over last 4 years on a website I have showing the prep for radiotherapy and a couple from each year since.
Hope its OK to post link here
Your images are stunning and you're so lucky to live in an area with such a lot of natural beauty to capture.
I live very close to Saddleworth Moor (of Moors murders infamy.) Unfortunately my photos never do them justice.I think it's a lovely idea to show some pics so we all get to "see" who we chat to.
Thankyou for sharing your BT experience, it really does give us novices some hope and comfort. I hope your wife's improved health continues.
Wishing you all a peaceful weekend and strength to those who are in a difficult place.
Small World!!
I also live by Saddleworth Moors

We should have a map with red dots to show where we all live. All you guys probably live round the corner from one another and could share real wine instead of virtual.
Have a peaceful night everyone...Especially Martyn.....thinking of you and Doreen often.

Hi Pete.Have you been out with your mates at all? How are you coping? Hugs

Hi Carol,
I've been staying at home this week and it's been pretty quiet, but I have lots of invitations over the Christmas period.
I'm doing ok, but it's just very quiet.
I don't know - don't I count as a mate?? Pete we met, unfortunately no wine but next time!
This year is going to be a different Christmas for all of us - just like we always do we will cope, laugh cry and drink lots of wine
thinking of you all, especially Martyn and Doreen xxxxx

Ah Joanna. You're more than just a mate, it's so nice to meet with someone who you can share an immediate understanding with and just talk with openly and freely.
You're a true friend. And next time should involve gallons of wine for certain.
