Hi there
I am 46 and have had a double mastectomy after discovering I had BRACA 2. I kept my nipples. I am no longer screened under the NHS as they say there is no risk and not enough funding. I worry that I kept my nipplesand so there is still breast tissue and wondered if anyone out there in the same situation gets MRI's on the NHS or privately?
Morning
Warm welcome to the club no one wants to join Sorry to read you have been slapped with the BRCA2 gene grief.
Can't offer you an experienced reply but wanted to let you know there is a BRCA Group here that you may wish to join and get into contact with others in the same boat who could offer you their opinions.
Hope this help, G n' J
