7yrs after having a double mastectomy, 41 lymph nodes removed. reconstruction of both boobs (silicone implants)
Ive had 7yrs of feeling so ill sometimes enough that ive had to stay in bed. Some times feeling I wont wake up in the morning. Most day's after having a shower im so exhausted, as if I have rain a marathon. My back or legs hurt so much I can't walk. I hurt from my toes to my finger tips. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to die. I'm like a 99yr old rather than 60. I'm so tired all the time, yet Never get to sleep before 4, 5 o'clock, if at all. Melt downs as I call it. If I talk to people its so embarrassing as the water is dripping off of me. If i hug people to say hello or bye. They say your freezing but wet. Ther's so much more. I try to tell the doctor's but its put down to menopause, thyroid or I'm told they can only treat 1 thing at a time. My daughter lives 25 doors away from me & I can't walk to her's. I just keep quiet about this most of the time because i don't think people will baleive me. It gets me down all of the time my husband knows & says i wish I can help. Its not even worth seeing a doctor. I used to have my own small business which i had to give up.
My husband heared a program & ladies explaining there symptoms. He recorded the program for me.....he said it sounds just like you say. So many symptoms you can not say all.

Everything sounds exactly as I feel. I felt it was good because it sounded like some one actually feels & beleives me.... but now I dont know what to do. Ive spoken to my GP she said we will check your blood for your thyroid again first. Ggggggrrrrrr Help. (Please)

I'm sorry to hear how poorly you're feeling and that you don't seem to be getting any help from your GP.
Could I suggest that you join and also post this question in the very active breast cancer group. There is a good chance that there will be someone in that group who will have had a similar experience to you.

Another way of accessing help would be to post in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 2 working days.
