Anxiety about my husbands diagnosis

My husband had a very long pathway to his lung cancer diagnosis ; it took 10 months & 4 biopsies to get his diagnosis . We were very hopeful initially ; his cancer was early stage, a primary site , hadn’t spread  & we were told that it was curable .
Unfortunately it took so long to get a definite diagnosis of what type of cancer the nodule was that  it  had grown & possibly spread to a nearby lymph node …. his outlook became more murky

I have become an anxiety filled bag of nerves since his dx  I’ve turned into someone who is constantly upset, crying & having to be comforted / reassured by my poor husband. I feel absolutely useless despite trying to be supportive & advocate for him

It was decided to give him 4 cycles of chemo & immunotherapy  to try to shrink the nodule & make surgery less invasive .
On his rest week after his second cycle last week he became slightly breathless on exertion so was sent to AED by the cancer centre helpline Nurse  . They tentatively diagnosed Pneumonitis, prescribed oral steroids, an urgent CT scan  & follow up by his Oncologist . Today his chemo / immunotherapy session was cancelled until the CT & review.

Tonight he decided to go on his NHS app to check his most recent blood test results only to find that a medic ( ? Who ) had written ? Carcinomatosis in his notes  & not the possible Pneumonitis that was suggested by the AED consultant.

I am an absolute mess tonight &  of course there is no one medically  to talk to at this time of night. Yet again my poor husband is having to comfort me

I just can’t break  this worry/anxiety cycle & be the support that my husband needs . I don’t know what to do or where to turn to

I don’t have a friend support network anymore as I lost both my best friend’s recently & don’t talk to my children about things because I don’t want to worry them even though they are adults x
