My dad recently had a stroke and, throughout multiple scans and tests, they have now discovered a growth in the brain. Unsure if this is lymphoma or meningioma yet, we have been informed that the diagnosis can only be confirmed during surgery. the outcomes are very different as meningioma can be benign.
This has come as such a shock as we were only expecting to recover from a mild stroke. I feel guilty with how overwhelmed it’s making me feel as I can’t even begin to imagine how frightened he is. I don’t have the greatest support at home (7 year itch some might say) and I’m wondering if someone can help point me in a direction of support. I really just want someone i can talk to.
