This weekend I’ve been told that my brothers chemo isn’t working anymore so they are changing it.
That’s not all.... his tumours have grown and he has a new one. He also has a clot on his lung from the last chemo.
He has rectum, bowel, stomach and liver and the new tumour is in another part of his liver.
He has always told me what’s going on through this journey but won’t talk to me now. He knows, he knows I’m falling apart.
When mum died at 43 ( the age I’m at this month) I had to help bring him up as dad had no idea.
He is like a child to me.
I am sooo sad
I am so sorry for what you are going through my dad won't talk to any of us as he doesn't want us to worry despite anything we say to him. The only thing I would say to you is talk to someone I called the McMillan line the other evening when I was having a bad day and whilst they and no-one else can change the situation they were brilliant at refocussing me and just letting me get it all out and feeling able to be strong for him again
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
