im trying to come to terms with it all & am struggling xx
Hi and welcome to the community though sorry to hear about your mum.
The gap between diagnosis and getting a treatment plan can be really difficult but it is good to hear she has an appointment next week and I am sure you will be a great support to her.
I know I found I really struggled when my wife was first diagnosed. I managed to do a living with less stress course that helped me focus more on the here and now rather than a future I had no control over. There are some tips in Looking after someone with cancer that give some helpful pointers in how we can access help - I hope you find you made a great start by coming here.
For your children there may be some tips in Talking to children and teenagers that might help them understand why you are sad.
and post on here whenever, we understand because we have been there.
<<hugs>>
Steve
