Hoping to chat with someone in a similar situation.
My mum has high grade Non Hodgkins Lymphoma localised at the base of her tongue. She has had 3 weeks of radiotherapy followed by the following side effects - oral thrush, pain on swallowing, tiredness, difficulty eating and drinking.
Being diagnosed with cancer is devastating at any time but during a pandemic it makes things even harder especially when she should have had chemotherapy first but it is too unsafe due to the virus. Mum will get a scan to see if the radiotherapy has worked. Praying it has
