My son-in-law was sent home on Monday with a matter of weeks to live, this went down to days. We’re in Birmingham they’re in Nottingham and I’m trying to help as best as I can from here. My Stepdaughter is messaging me and I don’t know if there is anything that I can advise her to look out for or listen for so she knows it’s imminent and can let his mom know.
The district nurses are coming to administer his morphine upon request.
Thank you in advance.

Hi , sorry to read this but it is good to see you talk of him being at peace.
With the situation as it is at the moment much of the advice we might normally give might seem slightly inappropriate but just to let you know we are here and will do all we can to support you.

Chrissy, I am sure you did and your step-daughter knows you were there as much as you could. It is such a strain on people who want to support loved ones but are unable to in person.
I'm learning that support can come in many forms, in today's situation it's very apparent that we are resilient in finding ways to still give support where needed.
Strength and thoughts to you all.
((Hugs))
