hi ,
sorry to read about these eating issues, this is really a very common issue that occurs between patients and those that care for them. Sometimes it seems like the patient can feel that eating is one of the few things still in their control and given issues can make it seem to do more like hard work than it is worth. this then can cause anxiety in the people who are looking after them and tensions can boil over.
Sometimes it seems the best option is to try to give a bit more control to the patient but explaining that the alternative to eating something at home is being admitted to hospital and hopefully coming to some understanding. Fingers crossed that the juice from boots with be something of a silver bullet.
<<hugs>>
Steve
