Hi, my dad and I was told and Tuesday they are unable to do anything more for him and only has a few months.
he will be coming to live with me and I’m not sure how I’m going to stay strong for him
I am sorry to hear of your Dad’s prognosis. Like your other response , you will find strength some how. Make sure you lean on others and ask for support to get you through this time. In the past when we cared for my mother in law I would say it bought me comfort knowing I loved and supported her in her final months and we had no regrets or unfinished business when her time came. I thought I loved and cared for her prior to this but it added even more depth and feelings between us and we still had lots of beautiful moments together in the midst of the most painful time. I wish you and your Dad lots of love xx
