Hi!
This is my first time posting.
My mum has stag 4 secondary breast cancer. Although she is doing ok and had had a few wobbles i am very aware that she could be a lot worse. And so want to take the opportunity for her to experience life and embrace it with her kids before it is too late. She is nervous, i am nervous and funds are limited but time is precious!
Does anyone know of any grants. Or specialised holidays/retreats/experiences for patients and their families?
My drastic thinking and impending panic is to just get a credit card or loan but i am not the first or last person in this situation so any info or experience is very welcome.
Thanks,
X
Hi A639 welcome to the forum.
Can I suggest that you maybe give the Mcmillan Line a call as they can maybe advise on what may be available for you and your family. They are available 8am-8pm daily on 08088080000.
Hope that you manage to get something sorted out for you all and enjoy what time there is for you and the family.
Didnt know they helped like that but will give them a call.
Thank you
Ax
