Hi everyone.
I really deliberated with myself as to whether or not to come on here but I'm hoping it will bring me some relief.
My dad (59)has just been diagnosed with primary small bowel cancer with liver and omental mets. He had previously had chemo for the bowel cancer and responded well, his last chemo was over a year ago.
1 week ago he suddenly started vomiting and has a painful and distended abdomen. During investigation, This was when we received the above devastating diagnosis.
I am so angry that return or his original disease didn't seem to be acknowledged until it had spread this far. My dad's a strong, fit and young looking man for his age. He's like a dad to my 4yo daughter and I cannot handle this diagnosis.
I can't sleep, I can't think, I suffer with chronic depression and all I can think about is dying because the thought of him suffering and leaving us is too much to bear.
