my partner has been diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. He has been in hospital for the last few days been discharged today and he’s waiting for an urgent appointment to go to Christie’s. Not sure what to think or do?
Hi and welcome to the community though sorry to hear about your partner.
Just to clear up one issue, all cancer/suspected cancer cases are marked "urgent". The step between the first diagnosis and any treatment can be very hard and we can all relate to that.
There is a lot of information of kidney cancer on the main site that might help you both come up with some questions you might like to focus on when you have the meeting, you might also like to have a look and possibly introduce yourself on our Kidney cancer forum.
For you too you might like to look at I'm looking after someone with cancer, because sometimes it can be really hard, but do reach out on here and we will try to help.
<<hugs>>
Steve
