hi all
my 19 yr old, shockingly was diagnosed late July out of the blue! He had had no real symptoms. He has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer (advanced) he is the youngest person known to have this. He has started chemo and is under a trail of immunotherapy, which due to some side effects he has had they believe he is receiving the drug.
We try and carry on as normal (whatever that is now) do exciting things when he feels well. After first round of chemo he was very sick for about four days then never felt better! All a good sign I hope! In clinic his bloods were good!
My heart is broken, some days are easier than others. Just need to reach out, finding it difficult.
my husband and family are great, but sometimes we need something else.
X
